The International Journal of Ageing and Wellbeing (IJAAWB) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal committed to the dissemination of high-quality research on ageing and wellbeing across social, cultural, environmental, and policy contexts.

All articles published in IJAAWB are made freely available online immediately upon publication. Authors retain copyright of their work, and articles are published under a Creative Commons license, permitting reuse with appropriate attribution.

IJAAWB is editorially independent and operates in accordance with established principles of academic integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing. The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, perspectives, opinion articles, and letters.

The journal is currently published online only. Long-term digital preservation is an important priority for IJAAWB. The journal plans to participate in recognised digital archiving and preservation services, including those supported by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), such as PKP Preservation Network (PN). Additional archiving arrangements may be implemented as the journal develops.
